Kelly Pickler is the lowest-ranking American Idol finalist to have a gold album and is a southern sweet heart. Her album Small Town Girl, is an album with a strong selection of nice safe country material.
Her current single, ''I Wonder,'' a ballad about growing up without the mother who abandoned her when she was still a toddler is eerily similar to her own.
