Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer is reported to be very upset with the Beverly Hills Police Department for allowing a preliminary report claiming the troubled actress had cocaine in her system and a blood-alcohol level nearly double the legal limit during a May car crash to be apparently leaked by someone. The preliminary police investigation was reported by TMZ. A spokesman for the Beverly Hills police reportedly said that he was unable to confirm the details at this time. Toxicology results are still not in and no charges have been laid against the young movie star as off yet. Lohan’s arraignment is set for August 24th.
Lohan was arrested on May 26th over the Memorial Day weekend, when her Mercedes jumped a curb on Sunset Boulevard and crashed into some trees. Police reportedly said they found a usable amount of a substance thought to be cocaine on the scene. 48 hours later Lindsay was photographed passed out in a car. Lindsay checked into rehab at Promises a day later and has been there for approximately the last month. Lohan’s rehab has led to her cancelling her birthday blowhan blow-out bash in Las Vegas. Rumours are that she is now out of rehab. Hopefully Lindsay will stay clean and sober on Monday, her 21st birthday. Just because your legally able to doesn’t mean you have to get blitzed, especially when you have a DUI hanging over your pretty little head.
